Romantasy Cabaret shows

Hi, all: Well, the fourth of our five Romantasy Cabaret shows for 2009 will take place this Saturday at Club Red, 101 and University in Tempe! As you may know (since I talk about it all the time), our little bi-monthly descent into the sensual limbo between vaudeville and burlesque was named best in the Valley last year by the New Times and I can tell you we've only gotten better!

This time out, I can promise you:

3-4 songs from me, one accompanied by live mermaids;
Lots of comedy;
LOADS of Ladies (including the amazing, high energy girls from Provocatease, making their first appearance in our show --ZOWIE),
Dozens of dancers
and it's all hosted by the one, the only Lucy Morals, our ringleader, head honcho, main putter-togetherer and this month: Birthday Girl. Yes, we're celebrating her birthday this month, folks. Look out.

The show starts at 8:30 p.m.

Anyway, you don't wanna miss it. Tix are as low as $18 and can be picked up at www.brownpapertickets.com!

Now, on SUNDAY, at the bar attached to Club Red, the Red Owl, our stage manager, John Parente, will be playing a gig with his band Gloria's Fold. The opening act at 5:30 is Thunderstump, 2/3 of which are my DNA, Adam and Brendan. They play comedy punk. They're really good. Admission is free. PLEASE COME CHECK THE BOYS OUT!

See ya...

Kozy Cactus

This Saturday I will be performing my goofy music at the Kozy Cactus, a nifty bar and grill in the Target strip mall across from Paradise Valley Mall, just west of Tatum on Cactus. (It's where there used to be a Cajun restaurant; now it's the KC.) Music starts at 8 p.m. and other than I'm sure they would appreciate it if you would buy food, there's no addiitonal cover.

Come on out! Funny doesn't work without an audience!

See you there!
